About the event
This is a hands-on resilience/regulation training for first responders. Through regulation based breathing, body movement, and structured sauna and cold plunge exposure, you will learn practical tools to reset your nervous system, sharpen focus, and improve on well-being. This is not therapy, it’s performance training for the body and mind.
Meet your facilitators:
Benjamin Strahan is a 25-year wildland firefighter, Hotshot Superintendent, and mental health advocate. After decades in high-stress leadership roles, he now trains first responders in evidence-based somatic tools that improve performance, stress regulation, and long-term well-being.
Mel U has worked in the wellness industry for over 15 years. Her work spans shelters, burn survivor programs, hospital trauma units, first responder communities, and corporate environments. She has trained with law enforcement, firefighters, and trauma professionals, using breath and movement practices to enhance focus and performance.
